DOA, DAS, and SFAR 36 Information
Delegation Option Authorization (DOA), Designated Alteration Station (DAS), Special Federal Aviation Regulation 36 (SFAR 36) Authorization Procedures, Order 8100.9, establishes procedures, guidance, and limitations of authority for organizations we authorize as a Designated Alteration Station, Delegation Option Authorization holder, or Special Federal Aviation Regulation 36 holder. This order also is intended to provide a clear understanding of the functions authorized and procedures to be followed when exercising the authority granted to them by the FAA.
