There are several programs available to open ZIP files. FAA does not endorse any of the vendors listed below.

Windows Users

Windows XP

Windows XP has the capability of opening ZIP files without requiring the installation of any additional software. Simply double-click on the file and another window will open showing the contents of the ZIP file. These contents may then be dragged and dropped to extract them or double-clicked to run them.

7-Zip

7-Zip is free program available to users of all versions of Windows.

WinZip

WinZip is a shareware program available to users of all versions of Windows.

Mac Users

StuffIt Expander

StuffIt Expander is a free program available to users of Mac OSX.
