Organizational Effectiveness Research investigates the effectiveness of organizational innovations and the relationships between work force psychological variables and the work environment. Such as evaluating the relationships among individual psychological characteristics (attitudes, behavioral preferences, temperament) and the work environment (business practices, organizational climate, culture, and structure)
By monitoring the long-term effects of organizational and technological change on workforce performance and quality of work, including worker health and safety.
Results from such research provides guidance on the relative merits of various innovations intended to enhance safety, efficiency, effectiveness, and personnel health and satisfaction.
