An ODO Data Sheet is needed for each developmental objective needed on the airport. ODO component work item(s) listed on the airport sponsor's Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for the upcoming two fiscal years should also include a detailed cost estimate of the component work item(s). An airport sponsor should also submit an annual update of their CIP (no later than March 31) to the appropriate FAA Regional/Field office.

The tools for developing and communicating your airports' ODO's and 5-year CIP have been developed for use by an airport sponsor. The forms provided are not mandatory. However, for an airport sponsor's ODO to be considered for AIP grant funds, the information requested must be conveyed in written format to the appropriate FAA Regional/Field office by the airport sponsor.
