The Great Lakes Region Airports Division is one of the participants in the Runway Safety Action Team (RSAT) meetings in our region. The function of these on-airport meetings is to identify key factors that may contribute to the occurrence of runway incursions, and to seek ways of addressing those issues so as to minimize the likelihood of incursions in the future.
