Janet Sadler joined AIG in January 2001, where she is responsible for underwriting their global space account. She also fulfills a management role with operational responsiblity for AIG Aviation's London division.
Ms Sadler started her career in 1974, working for the Ariel Syndicate at Lloyd's of London where she was responsible for all aspects of their Satellite and Space account as well as providing extensive support for other aspects of the airline, airport, and products accounts. In 1998 she moved to Associated Aviation Underwriters as chief underwriter for their Space Pool and Manager of the London office.
Ms. Sadler's expertise covers all areas of satellite and space insurance, including pre-launch, launch, in-orbit, and third-party liability coverages. She is a member of various space and aviation insurance committees and was the first international member to COMSTAC.
