Bob Davis is the director of Business and Strategy Development, Space Systems for Northrop Grumman Integrated Systems, El Segundo, California. From 2001 to 2003, he was the president and chief executive officer of the California Space Authority, Inc., (CSA) in Santa Maria. From 1998 to 2001, he was president and CEO for Kelly Space & Technology, Inc. Prior to working at KST, Mr. Davis was involved in the development of Alert Technologies Corporation, a software development company. Before that, he worked with space launch propulsion systems for 20 years (from 1977 to 1997) with the Aerojet Corporation in Sacramento and Los Angeles. Mr. Davis began his career as a Naval officer and aviator serving on active duty from 1970 to 1975. He received a B.S. degree in Aeronautical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-San Luis Obispo in 1969, and he graduated from Harvard University's Graduate School of Business Advance Management Program in 1993. He is a senior member of AIAA and past chair of the Space Transportation Technical Committee.
